As an ordained minister (no longer attached to any religious institution), I can create ritual and ceremony that is personal, meaningful and fulfilling.
I take great pride in writing funeral and memorial services and other poignant ceremonies that are personal, reflective and right for the occasion.
Sometimes the formality of a traditional, religious funeral service does not allow us to mark the death of a loved one in the most appropriate way. A more intimate and informal gathering at the funeral home or around the graveside with friends and family recalling key moments of your loved-one’s life and celebrating with carefully selected music might be more meaningful.
Maybe you want to recognise the anniversary or untimely death of someone close to you, or feel that you never got the chance to say goodbye properly. I can help you to draw on music, literature, symbolism and ritual from spiritual, religious or secular sources which will allow you to celebrate the life of your loved one, to grieve or say Goodbye. Moving on does not mean forgetting. I can help you to create the most appropriate ceremony to mark this death, helping you to let go and be more at peace with yourself for the future.
How Does It Work?
If you have a funeral or memorial service to arrange in Cyprus, please get in touch. I will visit you in your home or phone you to discuss exactly what you want, and to gather information about your loved one. I will then, with input from you, put the ceremony together in a way that is a true celebration of your loved one’s life.
In the case of a funeral I will liaise with the funeral home that you have chosen, and conduct the service for you at the funeral home or graveside.
If you would like to know more, please get in touch to discuss.
